Education:
Tammy received her bachelor of science in physiological science from UCLA. She then moved to San Francisco to attain her masters of science in physical therapy from UCSF/SFSU, where she participated in a research project focused on movement analysis of subjects with chronic low back pain.
Experience:
Tammy completed a 3-year internship in athletic training at UCLA. She also worked as a seasonal athletic trainer for 5 years with San Francisco high school football teams through the UCSF PlaySafe program. During this time, Tammy worked for 3 ½ years as a physical therapist at Mills Health Center in San Mateo. At Mills, she worked with patients of all types, including a mentoring program with rheumatology patients.
Personal:
Tammy is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed PT. She has also earned her certification as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist in Maitland Australian Therapy. In her free time Tammy likes to read, visit family, camp and swim. She looks forward to finding opportunities to travel internationally in the near future.
