Education:
Myra received her Bachelors in Movement and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Chapman University in 2001. While attending Washington State University, Myra completed the requirements for registered dietician internship and received another Bachelors degree in Dietetics, meanwhile completing her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition. Her graduate experience culminated in 2008 with a thesis entitled “Effects of Soy and Whey Protein in the Prevention of Exercise-induced Oxidative Stress and Inflammatory Damage in Human Athletes”

Personal:
Myra enjoys seeing the world and spending time with family and friends. She swam competitively and was an athlete on the CU rowing team. She continues to fulfill her competitive drive by participating in triathlons. Myra aspires to continually advance her education. Outside of athletics and education, she enjoys: carpentry, photography, cooking, wine, camping, hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
