Education:

Kevin completed his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Athletic Training in at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. After concluding his research on hand and wrist injury occurrence rates in collegiate baseball athletes, Kevin earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Kinesiology / Athletic Training from San Jose State University in 2003.

Personal:

Born in Eugene, OR, Kevin spent most of his formative years in Southern California. After finishing his undergraduate coursework in Athletic Training, Kevin spent the next five years in minor league baseball as a pitcher, wrapping up his playing career with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the Northern League in 2001 before returning to San Jose State University. In the fall of 2007, Kevin came to Stanford from Saint Mary’s College, where he provided medical coverage to a number of sports including Football, Lacrosse, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, and Softball while providing oversight to a number of vital resources within the Sports Medicine Program.

Kevin enjoys spending his free time on the golf course and spending time with family and friends. Kevin is engages in the fine art of grilling and enjoyes the musical sound of the harmonica.
