Charlie earned his BS and MS in Education from the University of Michigan.
Experience:
- Head Athletic Trainer at San Jose State University (1980 2001).
- Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Michigan (1978 1980).
- Chief Athletic Trainer for the Judo venue and staff Athletic Trainer for the sports medicine clinic in the Olympic village during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
- Team Athletic Trainer for the United States Judo Team at various tournaments (1986 1994).
Personal:
Charlie is married to Patty and has a son named Tony. Charlie enjoys scuba diving, ice hockey, wood working, and is a licensed private pilot. Charlie is involved research with cramping and the use of body core cooling for treatment.
