On behalf of the Athletic Training Staff at Stanford University, we would like to welcome you and your team to our campus for the upcoming athletic event. This page was created to assist visiting teams prior to and during their stay on The Farm. Our Staff Athletic Trainers will be available to assist you during your visit to Palo Alto.

The following services will be provided to you during your upcoming athletic event and your stay. A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site for your event and a Team Physician will be present or on call. Teams traveling with a Certified Athletic Trainer will have complete access to our facilities for any treatment needs. The following supplies/items will be provided:

Injury Treatment ice / bags / Flexiwrap
First Aid Supplies
Emergency Medical Services (Football)
AED, Splints, Crutches, Spineboard, etc.
Cups
Water

The Athletic Training staff politely asks that you contact us prior to your visit, so that we meet any specific needs that you may have. If an Athletic Trainer is not accompanying your team, or if you are traveling with a non-certified athletic trainer, please complete a Modality Application Authorization Form, or please notify us in advance.

All authorization forms must be signed by a Certified Athletic Trainer. We also ask that you provide your own taping supplies. We will be happy to accommodate any particular needs if prior arrangements have been made.

The Phillip & Penelope Knight Athletic Training Room will be available up to 2 hours prior to a competitive event. This is our main Athletic Training facility and is located on the ground floor of the Arrillaga family Sports Center at 641 Campus Drive.  If you need access to the facility prior to these times, please contact the appropriate Athletic Trainer prior to your visit or make arrangements upon your arrival.

During normal business hours our Sports Medicine Clinic is located on campus and in close proximity to the Athletic Training Room and may be accessible for visiting athlete use. Please contact a Stanford Staff Athletic Trainer for information.

We have also provided a printable version of important and emergency numbers of local hospitals, pharmacies, and medical clinics for your convenience. A link to a searchable campus map has also been included below.
